5. Orders and Payments
- Order Acceptance: Order confirmation does not guarantee acceptance. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse orders at our discretion.
- Payment: You authorize us to charge your chosen payment method for the full order total, including taxes and shipping.
- Order Changes: Orders cannot be modified or cancelled once placed. Please refer to our Return Policy for eligible returns.
6. Shipping, Delivery & Address Responsibility
Delivery Timeframes
- Our standard delivery timeframe is 7–14 working days from the dispatch date.
- During busy periods (including holidays, peak seasons, or carrier backlogs), delivery times may be extended.
- Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs, weather, or other factors outside our control.
Address Accuracy (Customer Responsibility)
- Customers are solely responsible for providing a complete and correct shipping address at checkout.
- If an incorrect or incomplete address is provided and the order has already been shipped, we are unable to modify, redirect, refund, or replace the order.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to retrieve the parcel from the delivery address provided, including contacting the occupant or carrier if necessary.
- We are not responsible for orders delivered to an address supplied incorrectly by the customer.
Risk of Loss
- All orders are shipped under a shipment contract. Risk of loss passes to the customer once the parcel is handed to the carrier.
7. Lost, Delayed, or Missing Parcels
- A parcel is not considered “lost” unless officially declared lost by the shipping carrier.
- Customers may not self-declare an order as lost based on lack of tracking updates or personal timelines.
- Orders remain in transit while tracking continues to show movement or recent scans, even if delayed.
- Refunds or replacements are not eligible until the carrier has completed their investigation and formally confirmed the parcel as lost.
- If a parcel is delayed but still within the delivery timeframe (or showing movement), it is not eligible for refund or replacement.

9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including designs, text, images, logos, graphics, and branding — is the property of The Cardigan Department and is protected by intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Cardigan Department shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the product(s) purchased.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Cardigan Department from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these Terms.
