It’s A Love Story Cardigans

The It’s a Love Story Cardigans have been a long time in the making.

We first shared this design back in September, and like many of our pieces, it’s evolved over time through feedback, tweaks, and conversations with our community. It’s one of those designs we kept coming back to — refining little details, adjusting the feel, and making sure it was exactly right before bringing it to life.

Inspired by a certain someone’s romantic engagement florals and the idea of a love story that grows and unfolds over time, the embroidery takes cues from soft, timeless engagement-style florals, paired with a classic knit that feels both nostalgic and wearable. It’s gentle, romantic, and full of intention without being overdone. 

This has been one of our favourite designs to work on, and we’re really excited to finally share it properly with you.

🤍 Soft White Cotton Edition

This edition is ideal if you’re looking for a lighter cardigan with a fresh, more airy feel.

🌸 Heritage Edition

A warm, rose-toned knit with a vintage, heirloom-inspired look.

• 50% Polyester
• 50% Acrylic
• Slightly heavier feel than the cotton edition
• Rosy undertones for a soft, romantic warmth
• Designed to feel nostalgic, cosy, and timeless

This edition leans into a more traditional, heritage aesthetic — perfect if you love that old-world romance feel.

Washing Instructions:

1. Machine Wash:
• Set the washing machine to a cold wash with a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees Celsius.
• Select a slow wash cycle to prevent any stretching or damage to the fabric.
• Place the cardigan in a wash bag or pillowcase to protect it from friction and snagging during the wash.
2. Hand Wash:
• If preferred, you may also hand wash the cardigan in cold water.
• Use a mild detergent and gently agitate the water to clean the fabric.
• Avoid wringing or twisting the cardigan to maintain its shape.

After washing, reshape the cardigan while damp and lay it flat to dry. Do not tumble dry, bleach, or iron directly on the fabric.
